In the legendary depths of Liverpool’s Cavern Club, a raw and invigorating sound bounced off the brick walls... rising Indie quartet Courds. We felt as if we were witnessing the start of something much larger than this basement they played as the Liverpool outfit delivered an electric performance.

They launched into their set with ‘Fault Lines’ and ‘Cherry’ instantly drawing in the audience with low and melancholic verses that suddenly erupt into bursts of gritty power. Evan Brady and Will Colley’s guitars intertwined beautifully; they have such a spacious and wailing sound which douses the room in a rich and moody aura. Isaac Goldsack’s relentless drumming in the chorus’ anchors the floating sound of the guitars, transforming the atmosphere into one that has everyone stomping their feet. Their infectious energy is transported into those who watch them.
Frontman Dylan Owen’s voice brimmed with passion and intensity, from grungy screams to precise and sharp vocals that filled up every corner of the Cavern with confidence and sound that had everyone spellbound.

Their third and fourth songs unveiled another layer of their unique sound, blending shoegaze textures with psychedelic and grunge influences. The inventive use of guitar effects created a haze that felt both nostalgic and new. Courds’ creativity and fierce delivery made it clear how much they thrive onstage, showcasing a genuine love for their craft.
Courds' sound and stage presence are undeniably captivating. A band that is not only thrilling to watch but with an unforgettable sound. We have no doubt that this band are on the path to something gigantic, destined to become louder, bigger and impossible to ignore.
