It has reached 11pm, you swear that you’ve seen this part of the forest before but the hazy moonlight makes it hard for you to be certain. There is something beneath the roaring panic, a strange comfort in the knowledge that you may never leave the eerie grasp of nature.

Your imagination should currently be conjuring a curious mix of Björk and Julie to soundtrack this apparition, preferably sung by a fleeting spectre, or in other words, ‘Sweetness of Things’ by Sisters.
This debut single is something other-worldly, opening with a held breath and a weeping synth, it cascades into a flurry of early Paramore vocals and tumbling drums. The intensity is unsettling, constantly ripping itself from under you before hurting back to a chorus, haunting bass pulsating with gritty lyrics.
It abandons you in this forest, half lost, but hopefully with enough wifi to access whatever music Sisters releases next.
