We are proud to announce their first line up for BOOT FEST 2025, the annual open-air all-dayer taking place on July 19th in the Future Yard garden in Birkenhead. Maccelsfield’s sunshine Indie trio Cassia will headline the festival which is packed full of the most exciting new Indie artists from across the North-West.
Early-Bird tickets are available for just £15 throughout May!

Headliners Cassia have just released their new sun-soaked album ‘everyone, outside’, an appropriate title for this outdoor festival headline. Currently on half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, the album has been met with widespread acclaim and features stand out singles ‘friends’ and ‘heat’.
The new line up announcement also features Liverpool Indie quartet Permanent (Joy) who have gone from strength to strength, completely redefining their sound with their debut EP and supporting the likes of Inhaler and Blossoms. They blend the more haunting, bittersweet tones of Wunderhorse’s Shoe-gaze influenced tracks while adding the breezy tones of 90s Indie as well as some grittier modern Post-Punk energy like in their single ‘I Wanna Go Home’.

North-West Indie songwriters Tilly Louise and Hannah Mazey will be bringing infectious summer melodies while Room Two offer that Scouse Psychedelic twang with powerful vocals and vibrant instrumentals. Finally, quirky Post-Punk / Indie Sleaze vincent’s last summer will be making the trip across the M6 to bring their tongue-in-cheek anthems while fellow Mancunian Indie outfit Bayboards will have non-stop festival ready bangers. You can discover the full line up on the festival playlist now.
Our June print issue, featuring interviews with Cassia, The K’s, Billie Marten, The Amazons and more will be available on the day. There will also be live screen printing, a vinyl record fair and more live acts to be announced soon.
