The Cribs are delighted to announce an exclusive show in the Northwest to celebrate 20 years since the release of their classic debut album. In addition, this two-set show will see the band performing their breakthrough follow-up record ‘The New Fellas’ in full, plus their greatest hits.

A special ‘One Night At The Olympia’ gig, the Jarman brothers will be revisiting their ‘The Cribs’ record on its two-decade anniversary at Liverpool’s elegant Olympia venue on 24th May 2024. The show will be the band’s first time back in Liverpool since their ‘The Cribs at the Cavern’ performance in 2020 (which was released as a live album).

The band’s 2004 self-titled debut album was recorded at the legendary Toe-Rag studios and produced in part by US underground musician Bobby Conn. A record which took the band from DIY heroes to wider public acclaim with indie club hits such as “Another Number” and “You Were Always The One”, ‘The Cribs’ was praised by NME for its “supreme pop melodies”. A cult classic, it holds a special place in long term Cribs fans hearts and continues to inspire new generations of indie bands to this day.

Releasing their searing debut in The band’s big breakthrough came with 2005 album ‘The New Fellas’. A record which was produced by Edwyn Collins, it featured 4 top 40 singles, including “Hey Scenesters!” and “Mirror Kissers”. Praised as one of Q Magazine’s ‘Albums of the Century’, it helped The Cribs grow into “the biggest cult band in the UK” (Q).
