‘Short n Sweet’ took the world by storm in August 2024, yet Sabrina might need one more espresso to swing her into these latest tour dates at American Express BST Hyde Park. Having two sold out dates on the 5th & 6th of July, fans are eager to see what pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter has got to offer next.

With the crowd set and ready, onto stage welcomed a variety of dancers and performers. They frantically constructed the remaining pieces of stage with furniture and props, almost as if it was ripped right out of a Disney channel show. Sabrina struts out wearing a glamorous red jumpsuit and begins with ‘Busy Woman’, being an appropriate track after her successful year. Her vocals spread across Hyde Park, with the highest points of each track being heard.

Not only a musical performance, the set was constructed as a retrospective television performance. These amusements would be used to introduce tracks , such as the Manchild Spray (‘Manchild’)  to the 1-800-BED-CHEM (‘Bed Chem’) advertisements. Filled with tracks from Short N Sweet, the explicit performances of ‘Bed Chem’ and ‘Juno’ are the main catches of the set. ‘Have you ever tried this one?’ follows the tour, only to be revealed as T-shirts being fired from canons, yet undeniably a special moment for fans who have snagged one.

Concluding the evening with ‘Don’t Smile’ sees Sabrina become a fairy, as she flies above the sold out Hyde Park crowd. ‘Don’t smile cause it happened, cry cause it's over’, adds to a somber end. However, Sabrina cannot let the crowd return to home just yet, not until they have had their ‘Espresso’. Fireworks loom over the stage, and Carpenter praises London for a fantastic evening as the curtains come to a close.
