Philadelphia 5-piece Soft No have once again proven that Rock n Roll is not dead. Their latest track ‘Probably Fine’, released on April 23rd, is unsettling in all the right places, with thunderous chords crashing and thrashing, drums becoming more and more volatile with every smash, and vocalist Allie Lannutti piling in with raw unfiltered energy, this is most certainly not a track to be missed.

Since the band’s debut in 2024, they have combined everything good about Alternative genres within their sound. ‘Probably Fine’ specifically is the lovechild of Hole, and Sunny Day Real Estate, with ancestry of Shoegaze bands such as My Bloody Valentine. What makes the track unique is its inescapable energy of intensity; we have no time to catch our breath in this marathon of adrenaline-soaked Alternative Rock. With lyrics like, “You said I should try to get better” and “Nothing feels right when I’m losing time”, the track becomes complete with Lannutti’s exposing words in this standout tune from Soft No’s discography.
