‘Blah Blah Blah’ instantly hurls you into an anti-establishment state of mind as Arizona-born artist Caelen Perkins declares that “I don’t like your ideologies and I don’t like you”, to the establishment.

This may be the black sheep of Perkins' newly released album ‘Rosemond’, but it sure does deliver. Known previously for a blend of Low-fi, Acoustic and Country, he has now put his own twist on Punk, a suitable addition to his anti-ICE album. ‘Blah Blah Blah’ has the spirit of Punk without compromising on Perkins' sound. By doubling a Garage Rock riff over the top of an acoustic one, retaining authenticity while still being belligerent enough for the subject.
Caelen's voice has a raspy softness that carries his angsty lyrics harmoniously, allowing his words to act as a mouthpiece for the criticism felt by many in modern America. Touching on firearm use, the moral hypocrisy of the government and the vapidity of US culture, as he cries out that he’d “be dead in a ditch if I wasn’t so handsome”. The song wraps up by boldly stating the blindness of republicans and their willingness to ‘die for a facsist’ and concludes with the ever-present chorus: “Blah Blah Blah and boo fucking hoo”.
