The newest single from the Indie Rock band Paradise Circus starts innocently with the strumming of an acoustic guitar before exploding into a soundscape filled with electronic, guitar-driven layers. ‘Nevermind’ feels like a track you have heard before as it oozes a nostalgic yet melancholic tone while feeling like a breath of fresh air for the Indie Rock genre.

As lead singer David Purchase sings with raw vocals “I don’t know if you feel the same way, maybe we’ll meet again some day”, ‘Nevermind’ revolves around the moment of striving for something new but having to leave someone behind.

The track is always building through infectious guitar riffs with each chorus erupting into an electronic crescendo. Much like the song’s themes, the instrumental lures you into a sense of hope while the accompanying lyrics feel more grounded, creating an emotional disparity of excitement and regret. With the amount of emotion and creativity poured into this track, Paradise Circus ‘Nevermind’ will be played on repeat for months especially for those times when we are at a crossroads in our life.
