BOOT - - - MUSIC Magazine announce first ever 'BOOT FEST' summer party at Birkenhead's Future Yard!

All our team at BOOT - - - MUSIC are beyond excited to announce the first ever ‘BOOT FEST’ event which will see a selection of the region’s most exciting new Indie and Alternative acts take to the stage at Future Yard, Birkenhead, on June 29th to celebrate the release of their 7th print issue. The line up will feature fast rising Alternative outfit Shefu, lively Indie acts The Sukis, Juno and Toy Car plus captivating singer-songwriter Georgia Johnson

BOOT - - - MUSIC magazine, which is aimed at showcasing the next wave of talent from the north-west and beyond, has been running online for 5 years yet we only began releasing our quarterly print issues last year. We are due to release Issue 6 on March 31st which will feature interviews with huge national names such as Declan Mckenna, The Snuts and Caity Baser as well as a wide selection of north-west talent including The Mysterines, Love Fame Tragedy, Corella, Keyside and more. Free copies of our 7th print issue will be available at the show.

Having previously hosted live shows with the likes THE GOA EXPRESS, October Drift, Queen Cult and Jaws The Shark, BOOT FEST will create more of a festival atmosphere with an all day programming of live music in the summer sun. Alongside the musical offerings, there will be a record fair run by local family-run record store Dead Air Records and live screen printed merch being made by sustainable merch brand AGAIN

Headliners Shefu are hotly tipped as one of Liverpool’s most exciting new acts, following in the footsteps of good friends Crawlers, they are creating a tight-knit yet ever-expanding and all-inclusive community. Their sound combines their quirky, 90s inspired aesthetic with a stomping Rock swagger that makes for an unmissable live show.
