Dublin Indie outfit Big Sleep were one of our ones to watch in 2026. Why? Because every single track they have released has hooked us in with its own unique personality. From silky indie sounds to angular, punchy singles, their songs always managed to embody a particular emotive theme from start to finish.

Their debut album ‘Holy Show’ has well and truly delivered on their promise and given us a wonderful collection of tracks filled with their powerful and poignant spirit.
The opening track ‘Don’t You Wanna’ has the lucid heartthrob energy of 00s Indie. Vocal lines that you want to sing back at a festival, riffs that take you back to sitting on the school bus all combined with a modern edge and haunting vocal emotion.
Tracks like ‘Bruiser’ and ‘Flatline’ are laced with winding riffs, rolling percussive energy building a sound akin to Dry Cleaning. ‘Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo’ and ‘Long Time’ capture the free spirited Indie energy of the opener while other moments lull you into a dreamy, shoegaze soundscape filled with a bittersweet emotion.
The range on the record makes it a proper flowing journey and showcases so many sides to the band that all make them so easy to listen to!
