Next in North-West Month i'm heading to Manchester with the gritty Indie-Rockers No Vacancies. They have shown their versatility over the last couple of years, yet from the instant energy hit of 'Molly' to the poignant build of 'She' all their tracks are delivered with a power that forces you to stand up and listen.
Their latest single 'Without You' is born out of youthful angst and packed full of their trademark rough northern energy. First opening with quite a melancholic, haunting guitar melody, the softness is instantly broken by the harsh and unforgiving vocals that dictate the band's distinctive style. However, this melody returns for the chorus and, when paired alongside the dance inducing drums and soaring vocal expression, creates an infectious atmosphere that you can't help but move to.
