As their third track of 2025, Australian-born, Germany-based Indie-Rock band Karlmer release ‘Cheap Prick’, a gritty, emotionally charged single that is magnetically cathartic. The energetic guitar solo and raw energy of the track produce a sound that feels deeply nostalgic while also uniquely their own, featuring striking vocals that are delivered with an edge that perfectly accompany the biting lyrics of the track.

This release is heavier than their previous song, ‘Faint Echoes’, which captured their softer, indie sensibilities while still combined with their nostalgic Rock influences. Their sound may appeal to listeners of lo-fi Indie/Garage-Rock bands such as Pixies, or The Strokes, as Karlmer showcase their ability to produce music that is raw and vulnerable, with evident Punk-Rock influences.

They are scheduled to release an EP later this year featuring 6 tracks, and we are very excited to see what this promising new band comes up with.
