Discover Swedish Post Punks Alpha Pet!

As Swedish Post Punk quartet Alpha Pet barrel towards their debut EP (out March 27th) their recent single ‘Mall of Death’ has us itching with excitement for what’s in store. 

The opening guitar tone hangs heavy with a sharp tone, building tension for what is to come. The groove then dives into a marching blend of cutting riffs and solid, churning drums straight of the book of Gang Of Four & Yard Act.

The bass is thick and the guitars are sharp, pulling at your eardrums with each cutting strum. Meanwhile, the vocals have Bowie tinge to them, with a warbling dramatic command that makes even the most simple repeated lines land with purpose.

The song gradually builds into a cacophony of sound as the instrumentals grow in power and depth, eventually swirling around you with a whirlwind of Post-Punk energy. A beautifully constructed track that has left us wanting more!
