American Indie Rockers The Wants tease new album with latest single 'Disposable Man'!

Things are getting tough for the goths right now, with the long sunlit hours and numerous garden parties, there are fewer and fewer dark, twisted little corners to gather in. Luckily, The Wants are creating a little space for us to inhabit with their new single ‘Disposable Man’. 

It is brooding and sharp, with the hypnotic repetition of LCD Soundsystem and the claustrophobic tension of Joy Division, a jumble of the post-punk and art-rock bands who are also hiding in the shadowy corners. This corner, however, cannot be mistaken as lonely or boring, the guitars bounce playfully and lyrics hop around tauntingly. The Wants are not bleak, just hauntingly icy and beautifully brutal. 

They are the mischievous stone figures on old gothic buildings, or the lace on the end of a witches cloak, or at the very least an escape from the blistering sun until autumn returns again.
