The boys are back in town, and you better pay attention because this time it's BIG! After a long anticipated wait, Brummie Indie quintet The Clause have arrived with their debut album ‘Victim of A Casual Thing’. This debut offers that classic Clause energy, combining that loud Indie Rock n Roll atmosphere with their trademark cheek and flair that fans have come to love.

The twelve track ballad introduces itself with the ‘Prologue’, an opening that almost sounds like it is from another world. Electric synths are heard, bringing the anticipation levels through the roof, fitting for a festival opening number. After going straight in ,‘Tell Me What You Want’ brings that charisma, especially with lead vocals from Pearce Macca. This concludes with a section ripped straight out of a Royal Blood track, as the other band perform to such a high standard, including loud guitars and drums.

The album features many of the previously heard singles, such as the excitement from ‘Weekend Millionaire’, a fitting track for the highs the band will be reaching once this debut releases. "If you’re down and there's only one way out, if life's f*cked up do not despair, so live your life as a Weekend Millionaire" is beckoned by the lead, as he preaches this feeling of not taking life seriously, supporting that Clause charisma, as charming as the rhyme in the lyric.

After listening to this debut album from The Clause, you will instantly become a ‘Victim of a Casual Thing’, as this is an album that you should have blaring from speakers at all times, with this being a rock n roll album that will keep the listener in their element.
